Hello everyone, first of all, sorry for my bad english, I'm French.

I saw that some people here had an Asus Zenbook UX31A like me.
I managed to install Mavericks and I used MultiBeast for post installation.

But there is still a lot of features that do not work, such as:
- The multitouch trackpad
- The energy management
- The sound
- The Ethernet
- etc.

I think I found kexts for trackpad and energy management, but I can not install it, I have tried several methods but it does not work and it breaks my system.

I also found a driver for the Ethernet card, but I can not install the .pkg (can not run with Installer.app) ... or I do not know how to do ...

So I wanted to ask you how to install it, and for people with this computer, how to find the correct drivers?

Thank you in advance and nice day!

Who makes the trackpad in your laptop?

- The energy management

See: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...nagement-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-laptops.html

- The sound

Google 'patch AppleHDA guide'. Collect audio codec dump from Linux. Search for AppleHDA that matches, patch DSDT as necessary... test.

- The Ethernet

Depends on what hardware you have. Use DPCIManager->PCI List.

Thank you very much for the quick response !

The trackpad's manufacturer is Elantech. I found some driver here : http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1948-elan-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/
But I am not able to install it...

The laptop does not have ethernet port, it requires an adapter, the drivers for OSX are avaliable, but the .pkg did not want to install : http://www.asix.com.tw/products.php?op=pItemdetail&PItemID=86;71;101

And thank you for your reply on energy management and sound, I'm going to watch it.

Sounds like you have an issue with all pkg installers on your system?

Yes, I have only tested with this one but he does not want to start. I tried with the console, changing the chmod, forcing Installer.app, but nothing works.

Do a fresh install.

Okay, thank you, I'll do that.

Hi, I reinstalled the system, but I still can not install the .pkg.

When I run it, I see the installer icon that opens, but the file is opened in text mode and I can not do anything else.

Otherwise, I found another problem: when I start the system, the keyboard and mouse do not work. I have to start with the installation USB key and it works (I can of course remove this key after).

It's really strange...

How did you create your USB installer?

Did you install PS2 drivers?
