Hey guys. My hackintosh was working great until I installed USB 3.0 kexts. Now my sleep and shutdown aren't working. I tried "darkwave=no". Still not working. Not sure what else to try. I have SleepEnabler & AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement in Extra/Extensions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The correct Kernel Flag is "darkwake=0"

Delete sleepenabler.kext and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext

Go to System/Library/Extensions and delete whatever USB 3.0 kext you installed.

Run repair disk permissions using Disk Utility and restart.

You don't need to install any USB 3.0 kexts from MultiBeast for that motherboard.

Well in my system profile, only "Usb high bus" was showing up. When I updated to the 3.0 kexts, I saw "3.0 superspeed bus" (pic).

I will delete the kexts you mentioned and restart. Be right back!

Hmmm so I deleted everything you said including the USB 3.0 kexts and it still doesn't sleep. Very odd... Anything else I should try?

How about the "EvOreboot.kext"?

You mean it doesn't sleep on Sleep Timer or not even via the Apple menu?

Well shutdown works now. Sleep still not. So when I go up to the apple menu and select sleep, The display shuts off but the fans and hard drives keep spinning.

Now... I installed Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement from multibeast. If I go to sleep now, the computer shuts down instead of falling asleep.
