Hello I'm hoping I can get help patching the DSDT for the F510UA. I tried the battery_ASUS-N55SL patch already and it only partly works.

It does not seem to show the correct percentage or it will show that it's running off battery when plugged in. Or it will show running on AC when on battery ect.

If I sleep the computer and wake it up again it will sometimes show the correct information and sometimes not. I have attached the extracted DSDT without any patches.

Strange thing is even though the battery status does not change in the menu bar. The Ioreg does show charging or not correctly.

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Thank you for the replay RehabMan. Here is the dump.

Your config.plist is not from the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also...
Your kextcache output proves kexts are not installed correctly.
All kexts you need must be installed to the system volume.
Read post #2 of the Clover guide for details:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

I didn't check anything else.

Thanks for the reply again. I read your post about kexts being installed in S/L/E instead of clover.

So here is what I have done. Stripped all the kexts that are not needed for booting (I believe tried removing as many as I could from clover but some would KP my system if they were not there).
Deleted the config I had and reinstalled clover so now I have a default config.

Installed ACPIBatteryManager.kext to S/L/E using kextutil

The battery status is still not working correctly. Says 100% or whatever % it was when booted all the time and on battery when plugged etc etc.

Also I have applied the Win10 OS Check Fix that did not fix it. So then I did the Mutex. Both like the guide said. But still not working.

Can you direct me to next recommended steps? thank you.

Actually for 10.11 and later, the recommendation is /L/E.

So here is what I have done.

Your kexts are still not installed correctly.

Your kextcache output proves kexts are not installed correctly (glaring example: FakeSMC.kext not installed).
All kexts you need must be installed to the system volume.

Ah! Sorry I did not understand. I have installed to /L/E as requested now.

Dear realfolkblues12,

I have my Asus Vivobook F510UA working fine with hackintosh high Sierra 10.13.6, except percentage battery (0% or 100%).
I attached the kexts and EFI. Can you help me???

Can you upload EFI and kexts that you used in your F510UA ?
Thanks. Max Malta
