Hi,

I've tried to get USB 3.0 to work on my Hackintosh High Sierra, I have tried to download "USBInjectAll.kext" and "FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext", placed them on my EFI in the other folder, and installed them using KextBeast.

I've set the following in Clover under Kernel and Kext Patches:

Name:
AppleUSBXHCIPCI
Find:
837D8C10
replace:
837D8C1B
comment:
change 15 port limit
MatchOS:
10.13.x

But the ports won't recognise 3.0 usb disks :(, all USB ports works and it works with usb 2.0 disks, and finder in system reports finds usb 3.0 Bus..
Anyone got any tips :/?

THANKS!

I manage to get it to work:

put the following in your efi partion under other and install them with ktext beast:
XHCI-200-series-injector.kext
USBInjectAll.kext

Type in the following in your config.plist

under Kernal and Kext Patches:
com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI
837D940F 0F839704 0000
837D940F 90909090 9090
USB 10.13.4+ by PMHeart
10.13.x

Save - reboot.

Is your 7050 working well? Maybe you could share your EFI-folder and you Bios-Config?

Sure, see attached for EFI.
My shutdown won't work though, please reply if you get it to work.
For sound you might need to install AppleALC.kext with ktext beast, might be similar for other ktexts,

You can use the following Bios settings,
  1. Start the Optiplex 780 SFF
  2. When the Dell logo appears keep pressing F2 until you hear a beep
  3. Click on Load Defaults
  4. Click on OK
  5. Click on Yes, if you’re asked about changing SATA settings
  6. Select (everything else stays the same):
  7. Settings/Drives/Diskette Drive/Disabled
  8. Settings/Drives/SATA Operation/RAID Autodetect / AHCI and click Yes
  9. Settings/Drives/SMART Reporting/Enable SMART Reporting
  10. Settings/System Configuration/Parallel Port/Disable
  11. Settings/System Configuration/Serial Port #1/Disable
  12. Settings/Performance/Intel SpeedStep/Enable Intel SpeedStep
  13. Settings/Performance/C States Control/C States Control
  14. Settings/Virtualization Support/Virtualization/Enable intel Virtualization Technology
  15. Settings/Power Management/AC Recovery/Last Power State
  16. Click Apply
  17. Click Exit
  18. Shutdown the Optiplex 780 SFF.
