[TMX86kitty]

Wonderful. I've downloaded four times. Now I'll try a fifth. Honestly, Apple is starting to suck as badly as M$.

I guess I'm just screwed as I do not know what else to try. If UniBeast thinks the purchased copy is incomplete and I have no way of resolving that matter then its the end of the road.

I just downloaded again and got no further. I suppose I could labor intensively to perform a Time Machine restoration to some time before the original download, but that seems a bit extreme. And I can't walk into an Apple store with this 27" iMac saying some 3rd party thinks the download is incomplete.

I have a similar issue I reported in my previous thread.

I downloaded 10.8.4 from app store and upgraded my mac book pro from 10.7.4. Upgrade went beautiful..no issues.

I am using the same package to create a USB Installer for my customac. Unibeast 2.0.1 says the package is incomplete. If it is a incomplete package, how would my Mac Book Pro would have got updated?

Can there be a bug in Unibeast 2.0.1? Did any one try creating a Mountain lion installer using previous versions of Unibeast? if so, can they share that version. I couldn't find older versions for some reasons.

Not to forget, tonymacx86 guys are doing amazing job in helping us...saving our time and helping us to realize our passion of building & running a customac. All this for free!

Something went wrong. I replied, pasted the contents of the command you asked for, and apparently it didn't post. Shoot! I must be on a kick for having to do things multiple times. Someone else stated I could delete the .app and empty the trash and then download it fresh, but like this weekend its once again timing out even though I can stream video concurrent with no problem.

I did not realize the reply failed before doing the above. So, its another multiple download excursion with Apple's lame download center.

The Mac App Store downloader is smart and will find and update any copy of the app even if it exists in another directory or volume. In your case the Install app was moved to a subdirectory named "Hewlett-Packard" under "/Applications" and when you downloaded it again you ended up with a split update and an incomplete app.

Delete all copies of "Install OS X Mountain Lion.app" from all mounted volumes and empty the Trash. Then download it again.

If you want to keep a clean copy in case you want to go back to a previous version compress it and store the zip in a safe location.
