Hi,

So I've been searching for a fix for this the past 4 days.
Installing latest Nvidia drivers (f02) with latest Sierra (.4) results in boot halting at error "IOConsoleUsers gIOScreenLockState 3" using Asus Strix 980Ti.
I have 3 Asus Swift 27" monitors hooked up using display port.
You can see all my settings in screenshot.

Anyone managed to find a fix for this? It seems that many people has this problem.

Verified with Multibeast 9.1

EmuVariable64 only - Can boot
Nvidia Web Drivers Only - Can boot
EmuVariable64 & Nvidia driver - Cannot boot, same error as before.

Seen many with this problem but no fix and I have pretty much tried everything suggested on the forum except injecting using DSDT/SSDT.

Sir @RehabMan, sir @tonymacx86 , do you have any suggestions perhaps? Would be very appreciated. ^^

Solved by doing a bios reset, following this guide but ENABLING CSM and changing from legacy to UEFI for all drivers in CSM (might just need for GPU, but now its working so im touching nothing).

Thank you man, solved for my 1070.

Cheers

I love that, "it's working so I'm touching nothing" that's totally going in my signature as a quote xD
