[solved] Trackpad/touchpad (ELAN I2C ELAN0501) and Keyboard did not work post install macOS HS 10.13

i downloaded that and installed AppleSmartTouchpad.kext and tap with two fingers nor double click work for me, i can't use the left click, any suggestions?

I have touchpad E501 too. All you need is install AppleSmartTouchpad.kext. Almost all features working for me:
- Lookup: tap with 3 fingers
- Right click: tap with 2 finger
- Left click: tap with 1 finger
- Zoom(Smart zoom and rotate not working)
- Launch pad: pin with thumb and 3 fingers
- Show desktop: spread with thumb and 3fingers
- Scroll with 2 fingers,
- Scroll at right side with 1 finger(default of ELAN lol)
- Swipe with 2 fingers from the right side: Notification
- Swipe with 2 fingers in launchpad
- Swipe up with 3 fingers mission control
- Swipe down blabla
And you can custom the gestures with BetterTouchTool :3 Have fun

Is it on par with "Precision Touchpad" on Windows, worse or better?

do you know where to download the latest version of this kext?
i got one from others clover/kext, but only few functionality works on my laptop, like those basic gesture.

In my ELAN1200 everything works well, I have the full gesture control.
But when I click and the hold the trackpad(want to drag a window like in Windows), the command send to macOS is multiple clicking.

Is this universal? Any suggestion to this problem?

I have same CPU, Graphics Card, and Touchpad but I cannot get mine working. I have tried multiple ways and nothing is working... How did you get your touchpad working? I have a Lenovo Yoga 720 13"
