Hi, so i noticed today that my temps went up by about 10 degrees in stat (it's fine in bios) yesterday it was fine. So idk what could be the cause of this, ,my computer did randomly boot up this morning and the cmos got COMPLETELY reseted and everything went to IDE, so i had to change that and i booted up and noticed my temps are way higher than they were yesterday so i was little surprised.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Specs:
Core i5 750 @3.2
12gb ram
9500gt

Update!!!: Ok so all of my cpu functions were set to auto, put them to enabled and fixed the issue!!!

Thanks for the help!

Re: System Increase 10 Degrees in Temperature?

System temp depends also on Ambient temp. If the room is cold, or weather cold, then mobo stays cooler. -- and vice versa.

Re: System Increase 10 Degrees in Temperature?

do you use DSDT edited for the mobo?

Did you use CMOS reset patch from multi beast or equivalent?

Re: System Increase 10 Degrees in Temperature?

I'm using the DSDT from the database, what do you mean if the cmos reset was through MB?

Re: System Increase 10 Degrees in Temperature?

If you mean what did i use to bring all the settings back... i did it manually in the bios. And the ambient temperature is pretty much the same, if not actually cooler, it's not big deal to me it may just false readings or maybe it's time to reapply some new thermal compound.
