[solved] Slow performance since the begining Acer SF314-52 i5 7200U

Hi, I am trying to install an Acer Swift 314-52 with i5 7200U, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD. I did 3 reinstalls with or without APFS and i always get very poor performance even in the Install OS screen. Everything takes like 20xtimes longer than usually and even the mouse cursos is very laggy and very inconfortable to use. I took just the RehabMans config for HD620 and the issue comes even during the setup.

Sometimes it works fine, but only for few minutes and then it starts to "lag" again.

I tried to install Sierra but it does not recognise my SSD even with the SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext so i am stuck with High Sierra. I did the 10.13.0 install. Currently recreating a USB drive with 10.13.4 but do not hope for much a difference.
I tried to do an upgrade to 10.13.4 which failed ultimately into "too many corpses" errors so i had to reinstall. I also experienced unexpected reboots 2 or 3 times when the lagging was enourmous.

Does it look to be faulty HW or missing some ACPI configs? In Windows the laptop worked like a charm.

I tried to use Clover only patches and also ssdtPRGen script. Always the same results. Allthough i had some minutes with normal performance that i was able to run a Geekbench Test which was showing normal results for this kind of CPU.

Strange thing is that it looks like when i run the Kext Utility and it rebuilds the cache, the issue is gone. But only for a while. HWMonitor App is showing what the CPU is not too hot and it changes frequencies normally.

attaching ioreg and clover config if someone could help me out to check for some obvious problem.

Please note that HWMonitor.app is not a kext.

Note also that EmuVariableUefi-64.efi should not be present when using AptioMemoryFix.efi.

i tried the EmuVariableUefi-64.efi even as a last attempt
anyway now i rebooted when i ran the debug script and it looked fine. i will try to run the geekbench what are the results and if it changes on load.

Your kextcache output proves kexts are not installed correctly.
All kexts you need must be installed to the system volume.

Remove SSDT.aml from ACPI/patched. It is not needed; and conflicts with config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/Generate/PluginType=true. Note: I specifically added SSDT.aml (and others) to DisabledAML in the guide plist files to keep people from making this mistake, but then you removed that setting from your plist!

AptioMemoryFix.efi should not be combined with OsxAptioFix*.efi. These are mutually exclusive, as per Clover guide:

And it looks like you have some NVMe related panics. Intel NVMe is not a good choice with hacks. Suggest you replace your SSD with Samsung NVMe or other M.2 SATA SSD.

i installed the kexts using kext utility, did not know that it is installing to wrong location by default.
what exactly is wrong about the kext installation?

I removed the DISABLE SSDT.aml just because your guide says how to generat SSDT.aml so there comes the confusion. I tried it only as i thought the lagging is caused by missing ACPI patch in that SSDT...

Wrong path.
And kextcache proves you did not install FakeSMC.kext.
No doubt FakeSMC.kext is part of the set "kexts you need".

The guide clearly discusses XCPM only with config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/Generate/PluginType=true.

Note: If you followed the guide linked above, and you have a Haswell or later CPU, there is nothing for you to do here, as CPU PM is already enabled with the plists provided by the guide. No need for ssdtPRgen.sh generated SSDT.aml with Haswell and later as the required properties are injected by Clover with config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/Generate/PluginType=true.
