Hi,

I have an issue with my graphics on HD630. My monitor's native res is 1600x1200, and when I set it to this resolution, the screen is offset (about 20%) to the left (can't see apple logo and some menu items on upper left corner).

I'm on Sierra 10.12.6 on GA B250M HD3, i5 7500 and integrated HD 630, using VGA connection

Steps taken so far:

1. On Multibeast 9.2 - Customize - Install Intel Graphics Fix-up only (no Intel HD6xx) - not fixed
2. On Multibeast 9.2 - Customize - Install Intel Graphics Fix-up and Intel HD6xx - not fixed

If it's any help at all, I've uploaded my config.plist and screenshot from system.

Would appreciate any help, thanks!

See Post #6

Also check DVMT setting in your BIOS - Should be at least 64MB.

Hi Pilgrim,

Always appreciate your help. Regarding Post #6, Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFixup.kext is already included in MultiBeast 9.2 so it is already installed in my Library/Extensions (which fixed an earlier issue of having only HD 630 7mb). I also have allocated at least 64mb in my bios DVMT settings, but still screen resolution is problematic. Been trying to dig up any posts in the forum that might help, other's mentioned that it might be because I'm using VGA? I'll buy a dvi cable and try that too and will report back, but any other possible solutions?

Apple have not used VGA in their products for more than ten years so unsurprisingly they do not include support for it in their operating system(s).

Yep! Changing to DVI cable fixed it! thanks Pilgrim!, now on to fixing audio!
