I read somewhere that NVMe patch is not needed anymore for installing high sierra...
But in the disk utility program I don't see the internal M2 SSD listed on the h270 pro4 motherboard...

Any trick when building the install USB stick?

Currently installing on an old OCZ vertex SATA SSD to see if all is working on the h270-pro4.
