I am having trouble connecting my two hard drives into my computer. They show up in my disk utility but i am unable to initialise them. Initially i connected them directly on my motherboard and appeared nowhere. Later on i connected them through a PCI and even though i could now see them i couldn't get past it.
Checking my bios i realized they don't appear in "SATA and RST Configuration" and/or "Offboard SATA Controller Configuration" under "Peripherals".
Is there pherhaps a kext that could fix this maybe i am doing something wrong? I am new to the bulding world as this is my first build.

Radeon Pulse RX 580..... 8th gen intel core processor........Gigabyte Z370 Aorus 5.
