[Solved] Problem opening JPGs in Mojave?

Anyones else with this problem? I'm running i7-8700k with an RX 560 and I'm using the iMac 18,2 smbios which works perfectly for me and I can not get JPGS to open up with preview. I can open up every other picture format but JPGS seem to freeze up preview. Also quicklook never works with JPGs. Can someone tell me if they're also suffering with this?
