Read guide, post #1, "USB customization". You are not following the procedures as detailed there.

You still did not follow the procedures. You must:
- boot with kernel flag -uia_ignore_rmcf
- run IORegistryExplorer (and keep it running)
- insert a USB2 device into every port
- insert a USB3 device into every port
- go back to IORegistryExplorer and save ioreg
- attach resulting ioreg

You will need a USB3 device to complete the test. It is not optional.

Hey Rehabman. My friend have probook 4430s with core i5 sandy bridge 8 GB Ram Intel HD 3000 with Yosemite 10.10.5. NEC USB 3.0 not working. and wireless not working too. He Used your tutorial from here

hey rehabman I just Installed Sierra 10.12 on my elitebook 8470p. everything is fine but my volume not working. I can't volume up and down volume from keyboard. how to fix this ?
