Hey guys, have successfully created a new fully functional High Sierra SSD
albeit with one or 2 minor issues.

1. Post install I have used multibeast to install the bootloader (clover) to my new partition
and all other relevant selections from multibeast for my setup.

Multibeast says that it has successfully installed everything.
When I choose my new partition as the first boot device and restart the system,
I'm taken to clover as one would expect but it can't find any drives to select ???

At the moment I can only boot in to my system using the unibeast created installer.

2. Secondly, when I am actually in the HS installation's EFI folder, under clover
there aren't any kexts in the 10.13 folder but I can only find "FakeSMC" in the "Other" folder.
Wouldn't I expect to see more kexts in this folder ???

Boot from your USB and when you get to the desktop download and run EFI Mounter and mount the EFI partition of your USB.
Copy the entire /EFI folder from the EFI partition of your USB to the desktop.
Eject the USB.
Run EFI Mounter again and mount the EFI partition of your SSD.
Delete the entire /EFI folder from the EFI partition of your SSD.
Copy the /EFI folder from your desktop to the EFI partition of your SSD.
Restart

You should now be able to boot from your SSD in the same way that you could previously boot from your USB.

Thanks for the suggestion m8, tried "exactly" as you said but to no avail.
I can still manage to get to clover after a reboot but for some strange reason
clover can't see any boot devices as in my SSD ??

Does your motherboard support UEFI ?
Did you install Clover in UEFI mode or Legacy ?

Not sure if my motherboard supports UEFI ??
When I boot to the bios screen it says "Hybrid EFI" whatever that means.

I choose "legacy" when installing clover when running multibeast.
Then you are wasting your time messing about with the EFI partition.
In Legacy mode Clover is installed to the /EFI folder on your system disk.

Understand but not sure where this leaves me or how to remedy my problem ??
Replace the /EFI folder on your system disk with the one from the USB installer.
