Not sure if this will work for you, but you might want to try using Bus ID 0x04 for the HDMI connector.

OMG, works just right! Wish I could buy you a beer.

I was a big annoyed with the VGA output because the fonts looked a bit blurry even though the resolution was right, which I realized is a common problem with many monitors. Now everything seems to be working fine again, and acceleration works on the HDMI port.
