I've been running macOS 11.1 under OC 0.6.3 for a while successfully. I have the boot GUI enabled, plus the startup chime is working.
When trying to update OC to the latest version (first to OC 0.6.4, then 0.6.5) I failed each attempt, continually getting an error while booting that said:
OCS: Failed to calculate size of true field containing <empty> as type integer, context <PlayChime>!
OCS: No schema for DeDuplicateBootOrder at 0 index, context, <Quirks>!
The system then restarted to the BIOS.
To solve these issues, I made the following changes in my config.plist:
UEFI > Audio
Change PlayChime from Boolean to String
Change value from YES to Enabled
UEFI > Quirks
Removed "DeduplicateBootOrder" entry
It took me two months to figure this out. Hope it helps one of you out there.
