[Solved] Only Recovery HD available on boot screen

Hello

Owning a mac pro 3.1 since years, i can't afford a €7000 imac pro, so i bought a pc at the shop.
So here i am ! But ...

This is the 9th attempt i try installing high sierra on my pc, and i can't get it to work, so i dared to post on the forum.
Here what i did :

I followed carefully the tutorial and docs :
1- the 16gb usb stick is well formatted (osx extended journalized + GUI partition map).
2- osx high sierra installer downloaded with osdude1 utility (because with the mac pro 3.1 i am not allowed to download it from the appstore ...)
3- usb creation with last unibeast, uefi mode, with success : it creates 2 partitions, one with the installer, and one EFI
4- plug this in the pc (tried both usb2 and usb3, front and rear ports), with mobo to default settings + recommanded configuration (XHCI Hand-off, tried both UEFI boot or UEFI+legacy, etc ...), then press start button
5- select the 'scandisk usb' that is showing (this screenshot is with bios UEFI boot mode) :

6- and then i am on the select screen => there is only the recovery disk available :s

When i select it, the apple logo properly appears with a loading bar, then the regular install "choose language", and after this i can only try to recover high sierra, which fails ...

Would anybody have a clue ? Do you think it could be the osdude high sierra installer ? Or something silly like the usb stick ?
I forage threads seeking something since 4 days, but i found nothing that could help.

pc config :
- MOBO MSI Z370 sli plus
- CPU i7 8700K
- GC Nvidia gtx 1080ti
- 512 ssd formatted hfs (also tried afs) for installing high sierra
- samsung 960 evo with windows 10 on it that i'd like to keep (for dual boot)

Okay, i found on a thread that the installer i was using from the dosdude1 patcher was not working, so i went at a friend's and used his mac mini to download the proper way from appstore.
now i have an "external" volume available besides the "revovery", but after selecting it, i have the forbidden sign :

Maybe this time it is because of the MSI bios or missing drivers.
I have time this afternoon so i will continue read threads and try to figure out what's wrong

Press the spacebar at the clover boot screen and select verbose booting then try it again.

my bad : it had not deactivated serial port 0 in the bios
now it s done and high sierra is installing !
wait & see

EDIT : it worked !
No audio ( ALC1220 on mobo ),
and the gtx1080ti is seen as a 6mb nvidia :

but i've seen i had to download Alternate NVIDIA Graphics Drivers
gonna try this !

after 6 hours struggling with alternate boot problems (printf ??), nvidia web drivers, and reading dozens of threads, i finally found a configuration that is working :
1- reset bios config to defaults
2- boot on windows 10 ssd
3- change the background with a mountain picture
4- move the bin to the down right corner
5- move the task bar to the top of the screen
6- launch photoshop and finally i can work !

yes ! this time everything works fine and the gtx 1080ti is fully working
