Hi, I get this message "No PCI-Ethernet Card installiert" in the system profile box.

Could someone help me in this?

Mainboard is GA Z77-DS3H.
I have El Capitan running and ethernet works on my SSD #1, but I did a fresh install of Sierra on SSD #2 and Ethernet does not work under Sierra. I have the same Ethernet kext in the same spot in Sierra. L/E/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext. I use The same
EFI from El Capitan. I also tried a Sierra clone from my Z170 Asus, still no Ethernet.

El Capitan SSD #1 - Ethernet Works
Sierra SSD #2 - No Ethernet card shows up

Things you can try

Open Terminal and run:
Code:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
Reboot

If that doesn't work

Remove previously installed from /Library/Extensions/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
Download KextBeast 2.0.1 and AtherosE2200Ethernet-v2.2.0.zip

1. Place AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext from the zip file on your desktop.
2. Run KextBeast installer
3. Select the destination folder: /Library/Extensions
4. Reboot

Option 1 + Reboot did not work.
Option 2 + Reboot did not work.
Option 2 then 1 + Reboot did not work.

I don't get it.

Here is a screenshot from El Capitan.

I use the same clover EFI for both systems. The kext is there, but it looks like it gets ignored.
Tried a clone from my Asus z170 and a fresh copy, both don't work. Everything else works, I currently use bluetooth wifi to connect to internet, I just can't use iCloud nor download anything from Apple Store.

P.S When I restart I have an invisible mouse. Which means I need to go to menu bar top left, click on it so I can see the mouse pointer. Whats up with that?

Have a good look at the kext your El Capitan system uses!
AtherosL1cEthernet.kext NOT AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext

Remove previously installed /Library/Extensions/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext and install correct kext.

On the other hand, I noticed it uses S/L/E not L/E, maybe that is why its not working, Ill go and and copy the Kext from El Capitan and paste it to desktop and use kextbest to install to S/L/E on Sierra, hope it works.

Ok here is what I did,
A)
1. Start up in 10.11
2. Use the go to folder command /System/Library/Extensions
3. Copy the AtherosL1cEthernet.kext to a different hard drive.

B)
1. Start up in 10.12
2. Move AtherosL1cEthernet.kext to Dekstop
3. Open KextBeast and select /System/Library/Extensions then continue installation.
4. Restart (Ethernet works but not app store)
5. Go to folder /Library/Preference/SystemConfiguration
6. Delete NetworkInterfaces.plist (I also deleted preferences, just in case)
7. Restart
8. Login to your apple store account.

Ethernet and AppStore works.

Thx for giving me the idea about S/L/E and L/E.

Could you upload your working kext here? I have the same mainboard and no ethernet on Sierra with the Multibeast drivers. Your file would help me a great deal.
