Hi.

I rebooted my hack machine after leaving it on overnight in a new office (prob nothing to do with it but i will mention anyways) and it started getting a panic and ending with a contact apple support on reboot. I had used KGP's 10.14.4 x99 hack guide. attached is the EFI folder. I tried using that on a usb stick but get the same panics. I have attached some screen shots trying to get it before ending at the final contact apple screen.

other notes:
-machine had been solid for 8-10 months
-maybe OSX tried to update overnight ? but i dont think so cause i had turned off updates, and screen seemed to be where i had left it
-weird clover boot flag, which i cant clear (pic attached)

any help would be greatly appreciated. If i get some time this weekend, i may try and use the x99 imac pro guide by KGP. hopefully i can upgrade the current OS drive.

system:

asrock x99e-itx
e5-2679v3 (i forget if this is excatly right but its a 2.4ghz 12-core)
64gb ecc 2133 memory
OSX on a sata ssd. apfs i think.
1080ti

So now that i ve got some time i guess ill start with KGP's imac pro extends to x99....

OK Got my hack back. I used KGP's imac pro x99 guide to build a usb key with 10.13.6 (i macpro build i forget the build number). Once i had it installed in a second drive i found there was a weird file installed on the root of my main OSX drive, i cant remeber the name of it but i think it had the extension .db after i deleted it, i was able to boot of the original drive again. I installed 10.13.6 on it and i am now using imac pro SMBIOS.

KGP's kernal to patch section wasnt giving me XCPM mode, and the CPU was all maxed out with his config.plist, running hot! but i found a config from MaLd0n here: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/331123-power-management-with-x99-system/

in there was a entry for xcpm_bootstap_HASwell E,

89D804C4 3C227722 , 89D804C1 3C227722, xcpm_bootstrap_HASwell_E © Pike R. Alpha

This gave me xcpm mode = 1 on my haswell E cpu ( e5-2690v3 ES ).

my Geekbench 4 score are : single : 3123 multi : 23662

Kinda Meh, but hey at least i have a working hack again.

if anyone has a good config for x99 haswell-e setups i would love to see if i can do better. attached is my current EFI.
