[Solved] Mojave on Z390-P and i7-9700k

First build here for me, and reporting the same unfortunately. Install hangs at 2min.

Using The Asus Z390-A and the i7 9700k. Will try a new fresh install of mojave and if not then an install with High Sierra.

Update:

Got High Sierra to install without too much trouble with APFS on an M.2 NVME drive. Trying to update to Mojave now that I have a working build with high sierra. Will update with results.

SUCCESS!! Officially running Mojave. Had to install with High Sierra first with Unibeast 8.3.2 and then updated to Mojave like you would with any other Mac. After Mojave finished installing though, it wouldn't boot from my Mojave install with that version of clover anymore. So I booted from a USB drive with an updated version of clover, and it booted!

@GhostHitWall I did my High Sierra install with the version of Clover that was in Unibeast 8.3.2. After the Mojave update I'm now running the Clover that came in the Unibeast 9.0.0 Mojave tool.

just a tip with these newer boards and aptiomemoryFix, per the readme, if board supports it, you want to ENABLE the "above 4G decoding" in bios settings. It might help with those memory matching issues.

Another Z390 success. As MysticalOS advised, Clover 4722, AptioMemoryFix-64.efi with enable "above 4G decoding" worked for me. Mojave 10.14.1 got boot!

Just tried a fresh Mojave install on my new Asus Prime Z390-P and i7-9700k. Using a GTX 960 and 1x16GB of RAM at 3200 Mhz.
First problem is that the installation freezes always when 2 minutes left (no restart/shutdown, just still image and frozen mouse pointer).

Seems that this is when the system tries to restart and it freezes at that point.

Any clues on how to solve this?

I already tried to change my clover config to the exact same settings as this post: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-at-2-minutes-left.262173/page-2#post-1827618
Same enabled fixes, same boot flags and with OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi installed. Still facing the same issue.

The install log looks exactly like the one in the first thread I linked:

Can you use the igpu to display graphics. I have the same motherboard and CPU is i7 8700k. I have successfully installed high sierra. But when I try to drive the uhd630. The HDMI and DP of the motherboard have no signal.
