Worked fine for 4 years now Mavericks stopped -
USBMSC Identifier (non-unique)
"Still Waiting for Root Device" messagein verbose mode. See screen image.

Weird stuff happens. The BIOS changed from AHCI to IDE.

Just changed it back to AHCI and all is normal.
