Good afternoon,
I am looking for help because I can't figure out why Sierra won't install again after the boot option for OSX had disappeared all of a sudden. The system has been running Sierra and Yosemite before without an itch and was not modified.
System:
Gigabyte H97N-WIFI (LGA 1150)
Core i5
GTX 970
128GB SSD
1,5 TB HDD
2x8 GB RAM
I have no problems at all beginning the installation but after very little progress it will quit with the message "macOS could not be installed on your computer" and it asks me to run diagnostics and restart.
What i have tried so far:
1. Removing the HDD
2. Removing the GTX 970
3. Removing 8GB RAM (as suggested in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...uld-not-be-installed-on-your-computer.206935/)
4. Fiddling around with BIOS settings
5. Using another USB port
None of this has helped. Still exactly the same result. Any ideas?
