Like a lot of people upgrading to El Capitan, I followed the guide to upgrade at the same time I was migrating from Chameleon to Clover. My system installed El Capitan fine, but after I restart in Clover (via USB) and try to select my El Capitan drive, it loads about halfway then I get a kernel panic. Attached are the errors I'm getting. Any ideas? I've taken out all my ram except one stick, and also tried to run the cpus=1 boot flag with no luck.

So you're getting a kernel panic in ng.uds.netusb.controller, which I believe is a third-party kext. Probably the best bet is to remove it and maybe look for a version compatible with El Capitan.

Hmm. I'll try it and report back.

So I looked under s/l/e and couldn't find any kext resembling that name. Is there a way for me to figure out what kext are original to OS X and blow away the others? Or is that not recommended?

Success!! A quick google search for "ng.uds.netusb.controller" led me to a post advising that the kext "udsnetgear.kext" was the culprit. For whatever reason my kext read "kudsnetgear.kext", but I deleted it, rebuilt my cache and everything booted fine!
