[SOLVED] Intel HD Graphics P4000 ( HD4000 )

Status
Not open for further replies.
Tried it asap :D
1) GraphicCard gets proper deviceID without injecting with clover (01668086) :)
2) MEI doesn't have the proper DeviceID: it has still 1C3A8086 instead of 1E3A8086.
Sadly still no transparent dock menu and slow animations.
I will try injecting the IMEI again and see what happens :)

Thank you RehabMan!!

ah and somehow 01660004 is now giving me a desktop :)

EDIT:
Cant inject MEI properly.
Any chance your kexts could fake the id of my MEI from 1C3A8086 to 1E3A8086?

thanks in advance <3

AHHHHHHHH RehabMan!!!!!!! YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!:headbang::mrgreen:
SOOOO COOOOL OMG, first time I see how a hackintosh could be!!

No more slow animations!! I can open the launchpad without waiting 30s.
I can click on downloads in the dock, without a heart attack .
The dock IS TRANSPARENT. I can open overlapping transparent windows without getting a brain damage.
I LOVE IT, thank you soon much!

2 small bugs, I really don't care about, but as a very happy user of your work, Im feeling responsible to report as good as I can.
1) System Info shows me 40GB RAM instead of 20GB. (I think either a reboot or a clear cache or changing my platform-id from 01660003 back to 01660004 will do it.)
2) The 2nd "white apple logo with progress bar on black background"-screen is still "bugged". (the one after GFX activation)
If you boot in verbose mode or any other than normal, you will only get the 2nd (gfx) apple screen WITHOUT the bug.

Both bugs are not new to me, and doesn't bother me a bit.
Save your current state for the p4000. THIS IS THE SOLUTION!!! I don't know what you changed, but that was IT.

My MEI in DPCIManager still shows 1C3A as ID but it triggers the graphic acceleration for the first time <3

Thank you a 1000 times, master RehabMan!
If you need me to test anything let me know. (you know my hardware, if I can be a bit useful to you, i would be happy to help you)

Gratefully
Blade

This thread can be marked as SOLVED* due to the amazing work of @RehabMan !!

EDIT: As I thought bug 1 was just a clear-cache-reboot bug ^^ so no bug :)
I was too happy with the fix, that I was afraid to restart for a minute xD

Great... I'll update the official build of FakePCIID...

config.plist/SMBIOS/Trust=true

Not sure what you mean by "bugged". You will probably need to use a photo.

The actual device-id *is* 1c3a, because your board is 6-series. But via Clover's FakeID you make the IntelMEIDriver that is normally associated with 7-series boards load, which avoids the problem of the duplicate from SNB and Capri kexts.

You have the correct configuration.

config.plist/SMBIOS/Trust=true
A clear cache + restart was enough to fix the RAM issue.

SUPER COOOL :D Thank you soon much master <3

YEEES :D
Im such a nap. I found this fix in your laptop-config.plist, but i chose the wrong one xD (10.10)
Now I found the 2nd fix for 10.11 :)

Count me as one of your soldiers in your hackintosh war :p

jokes aside, Thank you soo much RehabMan!!!
Such a nice developer!!
