I also used github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM and it worked with my old & cheap "iAmotus (BT-4) USB-Adapter (Broadcom BCM20702A0)" that I had lying around. I installed it on MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) using:
- BrcmPatchRAM3.kext
- BrcmFirmwareData.kext
- BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext
I just copied the files in
/Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other
& restarted my Hackintosh. I hope this makes the install process a little bit clearer
