Having issues installing High Sierra on motherboards with ICH10R chipset.

x58 motherboards (dx58so and dx58so2)

Is anyone else having this issue?

Is there a patch to fix this?

What is your problem ? Installer cannot see your HDD ?

I have the same problem. The USB installer can not see the HDD where I have Sierra OS installed but it can see the rest of HDD. I have two more, one for Time Machine and another one for Windows 10.

installing on an internal HD... regular HD...
Using macpro5,1 or Macpro6,1 bios settings...
get a big No Circle...

A USB installer of High Sierra cannot see the HD at all...
As if the HD is not connected...

Replace the config plist attached on your USB installer and try again (make a backup of your existing config plist in case it does not work).

Did you create the installer with Clover Legacy Mode? This is a must for installing on X58 builds.

Yes... legacy mode...
I already have Sierra Installed...
