Hi there.

I'm having a fresh install of High Sierra. Hardware listed below:
- Z370N.
- i5 8400.
- BCM94352Z for replacement of the stock card.

Status:
- Wifi works great. But not bluetooth.
- I have Bluetooth in System Information/ Hardward/ Bluetooth and USB.
- I have Bluetooth icon in the Menu Bar. It scanned but didn't ever find any devices.
- I tried pretty much everything I could find. But still no luck.

So now I guess it's time to create a topic.

Generated file from the "Problem Report tool" is also attached.

Thanks in advance.

Your BrcmPatchRAM kexts are not installed correctly.
Note obvious errors in kextcache output:
Code:
Kext rejected due to improper filesystem permissions: <OSKext 0x7fd4c32dcc90 [0x7fff8d573af0]> { URL = "BrcmPatchRAM2.kext/ -- file:///Library/Extensions/", ID = "com.no-one.BrcmPatchRAM2" }
Kext with invalid signatured (-67062) allowed: <OSKext 0x7fd4c27b8690 [0x7fff8d573af0]> { URL = "BrcmPatchRAM2.kext/ -- file:///System/Library/Extensions/", ID = "com.no-one.BrcmPatchRAM2" }

Also, your USB configuration is wrong.

Hi RehabMan.

I'm not sure if the generated debug file keep a history of command of something. Since I did notice the 'filesystem permissions' error, then I did chmod those folders and run kextcache again with better output.

I wasn't sure if the 'invalid signature allowed' was an error or not. Is it? If so how do I fix it?

Honestly I've been avoiding your guide to custom SSDT. So I'll try everything else first.

Any change requires new PR files. None attached.

There was no change. I did that before creating this topic.
So none needed.

And your answer indicates you failed to read post #3.

Anyways, I don't have the problem anymore, so marked solved.

I read post #3, but you failed to attach any new PR files that demonstrate you addressed the problem I mentioned in post #2.
The files in post #1 clearly indicate an resolved problem with kext permissions.

Anyways, I don't have the problem anymore, so marked solved.

Great.

I have the same MB and Broadcom card can you please guide me how you solved your problem of unrecognised Bluetooth?
I am using the clover configurator method for changing anything in the system, as of now I have put all the required kexts in the clover -> Kexts -> others.
thanks
