[solved] [HD5500] Broadwell display issue

Any solution now you know the device id?
0x10ec is Realtek.
0x0255 is ALC255.
Therefore Realtek ALC255. Not surprising that a solution for ALC295 did not work with ALC255 hardware.

As per the solution you gave me towards the graphics acceleration do you have any one i can add to the kext and kernel to patch that will work with this ig=16160002 or 16160003 because this is brighter than 16260006
Have you implemented backlight control?

Yeap, but now it is :) Conclusion - always read the full guide! I've turned CMS on and voilà...

But the Intel HD 5500 works without backlight regulation. Will it be hard to repair that? I see that you have BDW with HD5500 too.
I have followed the same step as you did in the previous reply, but I'm still facing the glitching problem like your original image.
Could you tell me what is your additional action other than those five steps?
BTW, you've mentioned you turn CMS on, but my bios do not have this option, have you followed other guides or something?
