[solved] HD4400 glitches with High Sierra Beta

Status
Not open for further replies.
Direct update from 10.12.5 using App Store. Because of the new IntelGraphicsFixup with Lilu.kext, i delete the original patch

and install IntelGraphicsFixup.kext and Lilu.kext to L/E. But it seems like they don't work..

The glitch during boot also exists.
Problem Reporting files attached.( Because of the glitch i get them without using "Insert Intel" )

With no ability to change the DVMT-prealloc, you would need to add an appropriate patch to change it to 32mb.
You can use the guide you mention as clues for what you need to do.
Also refer to the existing patches in my repo (linked from my Clover guide) for Haswell.
i don't know why it happens again after i enable 9MB cursor bytes patch...just know this problem doesn't exist on 10.12
also ig-platform-id=0x0a260006 works perfectly on 10.12, from my perspective it should work too on 10.13
