Hello,

I've installed El Capitan 10.11 successfully and did the recommended post installation process, installing CustomMac essentials and updated my SMBIOS to MacMini5,1.

But there's one thing I can get quite right: my HD 3000 card. I have a GA-B75M-D3H motherboard with an i5-2500K and I can't get it to work properly. In the "About My Mac" section, the system recognises my card as HD 2000 with only 3 MB.

I am using 2 displays, one connected via HDMI and the other via DVI. I also need HDMI audio to work properly, but I figure that it'll work when I get the HD 3000 card recognised. My config.plist is attached. Tried to inject IntelGFX and FakeID but it didn't work.

I've read other topics about the same problem (like http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/89945-clover-intel-hd-3000-a-3.html) but the solutions didn't quite work out for me too.

I think it's also important to mention that I don't have a DSDT installed (or at least not one that's in ACPI/patched folder). I need to install one? How do I do that?

Thanks.

EDIT: SOLVED
UPDATE: I got HD 3000 working with the config.plist of this topic: http://www.tonymacx86.com/alternate-bootloaders/155653-clover-yosemite-hd3000-z77.html#post978366. Thanks again, ellisbodds. :)

I think Chimera (the old boot loader) had a special patch to correct this text. I think it's just cosmetic. What is the actual problem that is bothering you?

I had to switch to Clover. The official guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...-el-capitan-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html) only advises using Clover.

The problem is that I can't get the HD 3000 graphics to work. When I boot, I get a lot of glitches and the resolution is set to 1024x768. Also, HDMI audio doesn't work.
