[Solved] Having Problem with Photo Playing Videos

I'm having the problem that the Photos app will not play videos (from iphone), says 'cannot play video - would you like to try opening it in quicktime player?'. That does not work.

I can export these videos and open them fine in VLC (and other apps I think), but the default quicktime player does not (says unknown error -101).

Note I dont have sound working either (except over bluetooth). But rather assuming from other thread on audio (which I don't understand at all) that I need to fix video first.

NVidia drivers working fine every other way.

Anyone else having trouble with videos in Photos?

Follow-up: digging in console it looks like all of the errors are audio-related, so I think i'm back to trying to fix that problem. Or using bluetooth speakers all the time.

And indeed photos will play when bluetooth speakers on and linked.

Just in case anyone else runs into this, once audio is working, videos will play in photos.
