EDIT: This problem is now SOLVED. It turns out I forgot to enable XHCI Hand-off is Enabled in my BIOS. Thanks to
BreBo for this fix.

Hello,
I have a computer with the following specs:
  • Intel i7-7700K
  • GTX 1070
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB), PC4-19200 (2400MHz) DDR4
  • Multiple SSDs and HDDs, I plan to install mac on a WD Black 2TB 7200RPM Sata 3 HDD.
  • Gigabyte Z270MX Gaming 5 Mobo
I am trying to install High Sierra. I am using a 16GB Cruzer Blade 16GB in a USB 2.0 port. I boot off the USB, clover opens, and I pick the drive with the High Sierra logo, the Apple logo appears and the loading bar gets stuck at nothing. I have left the pc for over 12 hours with no improvement. Upon retrying with verbose boot I can see what it gets stuck on:
mbinit: done [128 MB total pool size, (85/42) split]

I have no clue what to do now, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

How did you create the install USB?

Check if XHCI Hand-off is Enabled in your BIOS.

I had it disabled, I switched it on and it worked! I can't believe I missed that.

Thank you so much!
