Hi,

Here is my config:

  • Mobo: Asus Prime Z270-K
  • CPU: I7 7700K
  • GPU: Asus Gtx 1080 Ti Rog Strix OC
  • RAM: 2x16Gb DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX
  • SSD: 250Gb Samsung 850EVO M.2
  • HD: 2Tb Seagate SATA3
  • Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX
  • PSU: Corsair CS650M
This is my first build and I installed Sierra 12.10.6 with SMBIOS iMac 12,2
Everything seems to work well except my gpu is not detected.
I tried both PCIE slots. Fans are running and both leds are white.
I installed the latest NVidia Webdriver 378.05.05.25f01 as 02 is not compatible with Sierra 10.12.6
Also the latest CUDA drivers 8.0.90
They both stay enabled after reboot so it looks alright.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Plist is attached.

Same exact problem here, anyone have any more luck with this?
The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you

It is not about luck, you just have to configure things correctly :

BIOS - Disable Integrated graphics - Set PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI - VGA is not supported.
Boot with nv_disable=1
May need to update Clover
Install web drivers
Update web drivers to ensure that you have the correct version.
Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics and no ig-platform-id
Config.plist - Disable SIP fully - CsrActiveConfig 0x67
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link
May need to emulate native NVRAM - Problem 6
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist
May need to install Lilu.kext , LiluFriend and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

Potential Problems :
HDMI 2.0 is not supported - Use HDMI 1.4 (or lower)
If your graphics card has more than one output of the type that you are using then try another one.
Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

Does anyone have any ideas?
iMac12,1 is inappropriate for your hardware.
Your config.plist is wrong - No Fake IDs required :
Fake ID.png

NvidiaWeb = true not like you have :
Nvidia Web.png

Follow the procedure in Post #5.

Hi,
Everything is working fine for me now. I used SMBIOS 17,1 and changed my Config.plist.

I also removed the one to two 8 pins power cable that was povided with the GPU and used two different 8 pins cables to my PSU and It is now working.

Config.plist is attached.

Thank you.

You still have a ludicrous Fake ID in your config.plist and have not fully disabled SIP.

Hello, Torradeira91, you can make your efi available, I'm having trouble starting the installation on z270k, thanks
