[Solved]Fixes to Get Full Acceleration on Intel HD Graphics in iMac 17.1

I was able to get full acceleration but when I enable -disablegifxfirmware FCP just crashes. Any ideas?

Anyone with full hardware graphics enabled and can use iTunes without it crashing?
I can use shiki with shikigva=1 for full hardware acceleration but then iTunes is rendered almost useless?

I hardly use iTunes, but it works for playing music from my library on a NAS. Never bought a film or TV-show, so I don't know if that works.
What specifically doesn't work/crash?

Constantly crashing... seem to be effecting a group of users.

Interesting, thanks. Your setup is fairly similar to mine, though I have an Nvidia card (and NvidiaGraphicsFixup). Also my SSDTs are a little different (OT, but you don't need LPC for an iMac17,1 - apparently even the real ones don't have it).

Perhaps both your devices show up in System Info because you have a Radeon. That's the biggest difference I can think of. Quick Sync still works for me, however, I just don't see the IGPU listed anywhere other than IOReg.

Hi, I have HD530 + Nvidia card. Quicksync not working at all, in 10.13. The latest Lilu and Nvidiafix kexts makes me reboot infinite...So I am using Lilu 1.17 not 1.20.

Can you help me? or share your kexts and config?

Can you upload your config.plist and EFI folder (excluding themes)? Have you got the Nvidia web drivers installed for High Sierra?

I've not upgraded to iTunes 12.7, btw.

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleGVA.framework/info.plist the forceOfflineRenderer property in the Info.plist for my board id set to NO?

No intelfixup no shiki and no lilu needed... iTunes is more stable although will crash in bursts..
