[Solved] Do you always need a USB to boot into hackintosh?

I realize this is a silly question but I haven't been able to find an answer. I understand you need the USB boot drive to install everything and get it going but once you're completely installed and everything is working do you still need a USB drive at startup to get everything going or can you just turn it on like a regular mac without any USBs connected?

Thank you, admittedly I did glance over it before posting but since I'm still in the research phase didn't read it start to finish. Clears things up though, thanks for the obvious answer.
