With EFI from post #2,
I able to install Mojave 14.6, with: e5-2630L v3, RX460 or K4000.
but it have 01 small issue with performance, it drop 10% if compare with windows (and GPU drop more)

I was used 2630L v3 (55w) because original cpu heatsing have only 3 heatpipe, it became very hot if using e5-2650 v3 (105w).

I did not try EFI from Hat-trick, I will try and let you know

Thanks mate, Ive been trying for ages and cant get it going. Ive tried 10.14.6 and and now catalina 10.15.1 but can get it going at all. i tried a different efi from another persons thread anf im now getting a couple of different boto options in clover like boot recovery and boot preboot. Ill attach the efi ASAP so you can take a look and see what youthink. Tahnks

hi So here is the efi folder i downloaded from another post that i cant find. I used this and deleted out the 32bit driver folders and then edited the clover config file to my ram setup and smbios to a macpro 6,1 (didnt work) then i tried imac 14,2 but again didnt work. This has got me further than the efis in this post as im getting multiple boot options compared to just mac os boot, but it still gives the +++++++++ error. ive tried all the memory fixes, 1 at a time and deleted out previous memfix when trying a new one but still nothing. Thanks for your help lads

Hi Folks,

I was able to get Catalina installed on my the Dell precision T5810 workstation with a Xeon E5-1603v3 cpu and Hd7950 graphics card.

For audio (including internal speakers to work), I had to use ALCID=16 in the boot args.
For the HD7950, I had to use npci=0x2000 in the boot args.

Attached is my working Opencore 5.8 EFI for the T5810 with the E5-1603v3 cpu. Hope this helps.

P.S. recently I updated the proc to a Xeon E5-2620v3 cpu and the system halt on boot (still working on that issue). There must be something very different between the E5-1603v3 proc and the E5-2603v3 proc.

I just picked up a 5810 on eBay. I will be trying Catalina. If I get it running, I can post the EFI/Clover

Sorry if you dont mind me asking, what version Opencore did you use and Catalina version? I've tried your efi folder on my T5810 haswell-e 2640 v3, amd gpu with catalina 10.15.3 and opencore 0.5.8... starts and i select install mac os option 1> runs for a bit and i get stuck on OCB: startimage failed - aborted>halting on critical error any ideas? thanks

That's the issue I'm running into when the processor with the E5-2620v3 processor. Will have to play with it some-more... Will try to recreate ssdt's again with the E5-2620v3 proc and try again.

Thanks HackieMac, i have been reading and re-reading the entire post for over a week, my system is a T5810, Xeon E5 1607 v3; with a GTX 960 (which a read isnt compatible with Mojave, btw) No luck to boot into the installer so far, Im getting the ´randomseed´ error, trying all the possible solutions for that, no success yet.

Now Im willing to follow your Open Core path, and switching my GTX for a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950. Im wondering to know if your HD 7950 is the Mac Edition?

Thanks a lot in advance!

The HD7950 is a Powercolor PC version that I have lying around. Good Luck!
