[solved] Dell Inspiron i7368 - Clover install - stuck at black screen - verbose gives ++++++++++

Hey guys,

I'm trying to install OS X on my computer.

and I'm following the tutorial that RehabMan pointed me to. I wasn't sure what config to use, so I used the config here:

I am able to get into clover, and then when I select the install_osx, I get a black screen. If I use verbose I get the following: "+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++_".

I've turned "VT-d" off, couldn't find "DEP" in the bios, secure boot is off, legacy is on (Turned it off with the same result). Fastboot is disabled, and I can't find CSM. I'm not sure if not having DEP, and CSM is the issue.

Any tips/pointers are appreciated!

EDIT: If I use a external hd with mac osx already install on t, I get the pluses when it's loading "System\Library\Caches\com.apple.kext.caches\Startup\Extensions.mkext"

Boot verbose, show photo. Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

You did not follow the guide:
- OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi is missing from drivers64UEFI
- also Skylake computers usually need EmuVariableUefi-64.efi
- GenericUSBXHCI.kext is not recommended (not applicable to your hardware)
- SATA-RAID-282a.kext is unlikely to be applicable to your hardware (you need SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext)
- Clover v3625 is recommended by the guide, not v3726

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".

how is the hackintosh installation working so far?
Was it smooth/lagy?
Did it produce unresolvable bugs after some use?
Is it stable?
Is the touchpad working with gestures?

I have the same laptop model and would like to try this project. .
