Hey Rehabman !

Here I come again after sometime. Well I installed successfully using your usb installation guide on my laptop #2 (specs in signature).

Installed successfully however whenever I try to put patched DSDT to clover/patched, I get ACPI error. Something about XDSM namespace along with other ACPI error. I also can't seem to boot without SSDTSpoof so I am still using it.

Kindly let me know what am I doing wrong here.

Attached are the required files. ioreg, clover, patchmatic etc.

AutoMerge=true with SSDTs that have unique OEM table IDs requires newer Clover.

Same results. Tried clover the attached in the post as well as downloading new from source fog. attaching screenshots if that help.

No misc/preboot.log in Clover ZIP. You forgot to press F2 (and maybe F4 too)...
And the CLOVERX64.efi is not my version of Clover.
Note:
Code:
NUC6i7KYK:Clover rehabman$ strings /Users/rehabman/Downloads/ProblemReportv2/Clover/Archive\ 2/CLOVERX64.efi |grep -y clover.*revision
Clover revision: 4297

vs. from my EFI:
Code:
NUC6i7KYK:Clover rehabman$ strings /Volumes/ESP/EFI/CLOVER/CLOVERX64.efi |grep -y clover.*revision
Clover revision: 4313.RM-4418.22680(9081943a.b1af5f757c)

Ok I installed back your clover attached in previous post. Pressed F2 and F4.

Re-generating and attaching all files again.

Your ACPI/PM configuration is wrong.
config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/Generate/PluginType=true cannot be used with SSDT.aml from ssdtPRgen.sh.
The two solutions are mutually exclusive. Choose only one.
See CPU PM guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-native-power-management-for-laptops.175801/

For disabling the Radeon, read here:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-disabling-discrete-graphics-in-dual-gpu-laptops.163772/

PlunginType=false thingy didn't make a difference with current configuration.

For disabling nVidia, there are conflicting guides available. Your link assume 11 SSDTs, my generated SSDTs are only 8 I believe.

I used this link for patching SSDT / DSDT .. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-dell-inspiron-15-7559-sierra-high-sierra-install.201576/

Again too much conflicting guides / posts.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.

As AutoMerge=true is new, you should test a minimal patch scenario. Eg try with only one patched SSDT in ACPI/patched (use a an SSDT that has minimal/no patches). Then verify everything went correctly by looking at patchmatic -extract output.

Also, you could try with DropOem=true, AutoMerge=false, and all SSDTs entered into SortedOrder.

Note: I'm in the process of fixing another bug with AutoMerge=true (only happens when DropTables is used to drop SSDTs), and at the same time, I'll add some more debugging data for the bootlog.

I'm not supporting any guides other than my own.
My guide contains an example. You need to understand the example fully before attempting to apply to your own files.
You should not expect your laptop to have the same SSDT content as the example.
