clover failing to update
I only have one EFI folder and one instance of clover boot loader now after deleting the other EFI folder, I have to assume thats the one being used, I guess to verify I would know as when I tested earlier booting from EFI file on that drive, the theme was different to the older one, it is now always booting the newer theme.
I may have confused matters slightly, I was originally seeing version 2999 of clover booting.
booting from the correct EFI file saw the current version boot 3176. 3185 is the latest revision available to install, but it fails to do so.
In every instance, install for UEFI only has always been checked, and remains checked whenever I run the installer again, along with other options, which I thought were always remembered, as I stated before, and I think you are confirming.
The problem with the incorrect clover version loading is gone, since I corrected the bios to boot from the SSD first, not the HDD, it is simply not updating now.
options checked in clover installer (not altered by me, perhaps default as you suggest and not the correct options checked, I cannot compare to what the PBI checks as it doesn't show the options, just updates clover)
Install location
Disk: OSX
Device: disk0s2
Size 127Gb (confirms SSD)
System: Mac OS X 10.10.2
Build: 14c109
these are ticked>>
Install for UEFI booting only (upgrade)
Install clover in the ESP (upgrade)
Drivers64UEFI > OSXaptiofixDrv-64 (upgrade)
Install RC scripts on target volume (upgrade)
Install clover preference pane (upgrade)
I don't see how I can do anything else to ensure the install is going to the correct EFI location, deleted unwanted one, corrected boot sequence, selecting the correct drive in installer, confirmed by device number and size.
Of course, I could very well have the wrong options checked, could you please confirm?
