Hi,

I for some reason can not update my hackintosh anymore. When I try to update it runs through the first part nicely (the 2 min update) then it reboots the preboot install. But this it where it crashes. I cant get beyond this part. I can reboot back into my 10.14.3 system without any issues. The only major thing I can remember tinkling with after my last update is that i have made a custom USB patch and i have installed a internal card reader into my case.
I copy/paste my last crash report so maybe some wise person can spot what is going on.

Does no one have a usable info on why this is happening in my case? I can´t for the life of me boot the update that the was downloaded via software update. I have tried different system definitions but no luck. Right now i am on imac 14.2. I could really use some help from someone at the moment.

it stops here every time.

you can see form the panic it is due to your VoodooHDA.kext, remove it and retry the update

you can make it out on the verbose screen at the very top of your image

Thats awesome and turns out that was all that was blocking.. and to top it of it seems I don't need it anymore for sound so all is good. Running 10.14.5 and all is swell :)

Thanks a million for pointing out my trouble!
