I've created a USB live linux drive using unetbootin (tried both Linux Mint 17 and Clonezilla) but I can't get either of them to boot.

When starting my Hackintosh I press F12 to select the boot device and see UEFI: USB HDD and then select this. However it jumps straight into Clover. There's not drive to select other than my system SSD drive once in Clover.

I've got Clover installed and presume that maybe the issue is todo with UEFI in some way? I've been through my BIOS settings though and can't see anything obvious.

FYI: the reason I'm trying to use the Live USB is to clone my system drive onto a new bigger HDD. And so need to make sure OS X isn't running.
