Hi all,
I am doing an install like this atm. This is my firts attempt at Hackintosh.
My MB is the same GA-945P-S3 ver1 and yes is does not have an ACHI option. Fro the masses of info I have read it seems that this MB and E6600 might just work almost vanilla...
I have a question on my video card working...it is a GeForce 7600 GS.
Onthe BIOS.....when you press Cntl + F1 at the start of the bios load page it will enable advanced options.. No ACHI but you can get HPET...make sure you have bios 7c.

Yeah!! it worked

I had to install it in a usb hd, because my HD is formated with MBR, but as a first step is very big

I will try to use carbon copy cloner to move it to the mbr partition... and begin to "play", because I need a tri-boot with windows (that i suposse that it cannot boot with the enhaced option), linux and now mac os
