Hi All,

I've been struggling to install High Sierra on my "old" machine.

Specs:
Arock H170 Performance
8gb RAM
GTX 1080ti
i5-6600 Skylake
2x SSD SATA 3 (Samsung and Crucial)

Bios changes (after reset to default):
XHCI Handoff: enabled
VT-d: Disabled
Serial Port: Disabled
Secure Boot: Disabled
Fast Boot: Disabled
CSM(Compatibility Support Module): Disabled

I was using this link as a guide, https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-sierra-10-12-2-on-the-asrock-z170-pro4.210223/.
But no matter what I change, I always get the block sign on my screen.

What I've tried:
All USB ports (3.0 and 2.0).
Tried "fix USB Ownership" using Clover options on each USB port as well.

Anyone with the same motherboard?
If you've got this problem, how did you fix it?
Any hint that might fix this?

@Avallon, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard (Mobo), CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card.

Thanks, profile updated.

Booted in verbose mode.
I've taken a pic before and after screens get fuzzy.

"Still waiting for root device".
When booting from USB means that there is a problem finding a valid System folder to start up from on your USB flash drive.
This is usually because the flash drive is in a USB3 port.
If this is the case move it to a USB2 port, if it is already in a USB2 port move it to another and try again.
Repeat until you have tried all USB ports.
Use a USB2 flash drive.
If it still doesn't work you could try another flash drive.
You might also try enabling Legacy on your USB3 ports in your BIOS settings.
Try connecting your USB flash drive using a USB2 hub.
Ensure that Fast Boot is not enabled in your BIOS settings.
May require USBInjectAll.kext in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/.
May need PMHeart’s patch to remove XHCI USB Port Limit in config.plist.

The problem may also occur when your USB controllers are unsupported, if this is the case you should add the appropriate kext to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ or try GenericUSBXHCI.kext.

@P1LGRIM Copying USAInjectALL.kext and GenericUSBXHCI.kext solved the issue.

Thank you.

Now I'll try to finish and set OS to make everything else working.

Note: That TP-Link Wifi is great for Hackintosh, during installation it was working already.
