[Solved] Asus Z97 Deluxe Board, i7-4790k, RX 480 8GB

Hi Guys

just successfully installed OSX Sierra 10.12.5 onto my main rig.

Im having trouble with the post install though. I will lost them.

• on multibeast, I have no idea what kexts I need to install for my hardware.

1. My wifi is not working which is native to my board
2. my sound shows no devices apart from my skyQ via airplay.
3. I have to boot back to the USB in order to load up Sierra
4. my RX 480 is showing in devices but only has 7mb of Vram.

I have tried multiple kexts from different guides and whichever guide I follow, it always results in me not being able to boot. the most intriguing one I tried was the changing of the "Device ID" I think it was in amdx4100 and amd9500 (or something to that extent, this seams to just crash me on the apple logo. when I ran with -v it didn't give any indication to anything being wrong until half the boot writing disappeared and it just hung there.

has anyone got any kexts I could try to get my hardware working?

just wanted to update!

thanks to the great people on this community, I managed to follow the correct guides and now the only hardware that doesn't work is my wifi/bluetooth which tbh, I'm not that bothered about!
