[SOLVED] Asus P67 1600mhz RAM showing as 1333mhz

SO I've re-installed snow leopard form scratch and once again my 1600mhz RAM showing as 1333mhz, how do I go about applying the change? I don't know if it has anything to do with the BIOS like on Gigabyte boards, but I could be wrong because I have found nothing searching.

System profiler displays everything but the speed right so I added the following code to the boot.plist.

<key>SMmemspeed</key>
<string>1066</string>

I don't know if this works yet since I haven't rebooted. I'll post back with my findings as soon as Lion finishes downloading.

Edited the BIOS and deleted the string, made things easier and made me feel dumb.
