[Solved] Apple logo bar stuck but works via remote desktop

I upgraded my Z77X-UP5 TH from 10.12.1 to 10.12.4. The boot screen only shows the apple logo and the bar underneath half full. I've got remote desktop enabled and I can login to the machine from my other hackintosh. Everything is working fine via remote access.

I have clover 4160 installed and just updated to 10.12.5 but same issue.

Using built in video on the board Intel HD Graphics 4000. Have not tried a discrete card because I don't having any lying around.
Inject Intel is ENBABLED in config.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Boot with -v attach screenshot when it gets stuck.

I'm getting "gIOScrenLockState 3"

I googled this and found a solution #6 but it only partially worked.

I ended up disabling "Inject INTEL" in the clover config.
This immediately allowed the screen to show up but screen draw was slow and stuck at 1024 resolution.

I installed Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFixup.kext in:
CLOVER KEXTS 10.2 FOLDER
didn't change screen draw or resolution so deleted from above and tried -
CLOVER KEXTS OTHER FOLDER
didn't change screen draw or resolution so deleted from above and tried -
SYSTEM/LIBRARY/EXTENSIONS FOLDER
didn't change screen draw or resolution

So now I can see the desktop on the monitor but don't have proper screen draw or resolution.

Under "graphics/Displays" it reads Kernel Extension Info "No Kext Loaded"

hmmm... not sure what else to try.

Are you using onboard iGPU? Attach config.plist.
