[Solved] "An Error Occured Loading the Systems Resources"...

Hi all,

Trying to do a clean install of High Sierra on my Z170x Gaming 5.
But I'm faced with:
"An Error Occured Loading the Systems Recources"
It boots fine and I erase my NVMe drive to HFS+ Journled it installs (quite quickly, around 30 seconds) then reboots. I boot back up into clover via my own drive and boot into the new install drive. Then I get the error (picture attached).
Things I've tried so far:

• Using this link: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...os-could-not-be-installed-on-computer.250804/ I think he fixed it by using a different drive (not an option).
• Checking SMBios, its iMac 14,2
• Using nv_disable=1
• Trying a different thumb drive.
• Deselecting inject intel, I'm currently using on board graphics.

So close! Any help would be appreciated.

had the problem myself. i had the problem that the InstallESDDmg.pkg was missing in
/Volumes/LOCAL_HARDDRIVE/macOS Install Data

I booted into the USB Drive, started the Terminal and copied the file from the USB Drive to the Harddrive and rebooted to the USB Clover to start form the Local drive. Then it installed it prefectly fine

The installer will perform a second reboot where you have to choose the Local drive again in clover to finish the installation

cp /Volumes/USB_DRIVE/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESDDmg.pkg /Volumes/LOCAL_DRIVE/macOS\ Install\ Data\

I was using this link to force a full installer.

But it was giving me issues.

So I updated the app store using RehabMans magic:
sudo --softwareupdate -i -a
