Hi there,
Got an interesting problem which I can't resolve. My first Hackintosh has been solid for a number of years and through many updates. It's a Gigabyte Z77-DS3H motherboard, a 4770K i7 processor, Gigabyte GTX760 graphics card and i'm running 10.14.
For the first time in a while, I switched off my hackintosh at the wall. On reboot, it now won't boot from the SSD when it's connected to any of the internal SATA ports on the motherboard. I get shm2 legacy, followed by Still Waiting For Root Device and then a kernel panic. However, if I connect the SSD to any of the ports on my 4-port PCI express SATA card before the error, it then continues the boot. Once booted, none of internal drives that are connected to the motherboard directly, are detected.
Any ideas?
I've tried different clover settings and kexts. I also tried to boot using the 10.14 unibeast installer but without success. The strange thing is that I haven't changed anything for a number of weeks but the power cycle has seemed to have done something which I can't resolve.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thank you very much
