I just use 0x1005

If you’re running 10.14.5 with an i7-9700K, it will recognize the CPU as an i7. But if you use 0x1005 it will incorrectly set it to an i9.

I follow the thread to configure my i9 9900k to get headless iGPU
my config boot with clover r4934, SMBIOS19,1 (i9 + sapphire Vega 64)
in Hackintool, I got Platform ID 0x3E910003 (It should be 0x3E980003 with platform-id right ??)

It's seems to be OK, I don't have iGPU in hardware info and MacX video detect UHD 630 but not CFL ..
and I can't boot without WEG, kernel panic at apple logo

what I've missing ?

r4934 fixed Processor in About This Mac! No need for config.plist edit for CPU Type.

Do you have to be on the latest Mojave release in order to change SMBIOS to an iMac19,1/2 definition? I'm still on High Sierra 10.13.6 and quite happy for a while before I get time to upgrade OS. Currently running iMac 18,3 def with 8700K and RX580 with Quicksync.

Yes. You'll need the latest 10.14.5 Mojave release, or a special 10.14.4 build.

As you can see probably the frame buffer patch is not necessary. Especially now that new WEG+Lilu are out. What hackintool is telling you is that the real platform-id since new Clover r4934 correctly auto detects the IGPU on 9th gen CPUs but spoofs 8th gen ig-platform-id.

I need to read this entire thread. I tried iMac 19,1 on my Hackintosh running 10.14.5 and it was a disaster. Runs great using iMac 18,3, though, except the computer Restarts after I click Shutdown. I have to shut down using the case power button.
